Health and Safety Policy Statement

It is the policy of Multi-Mech Plumbing & Heating Ltd. to provide and maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Every employee has the right to work in a safe, healthy environment, and management will take every reasonable precaution to provide such an environment.

Management will conduct an orientation with new workers before beginning employment and ongoing training will be provided to all workers to reinforce safety within the workplace and the prevention of occupational illness, injury and property damage.

All personnel are ultimately responsible for their own safety by complying with legislative, company and industry standards, as well as prompt reporting of all unsafe acts of conditions to management

Supervisors will be held accountable for the health and safety of workers under their supervision. Supervisors are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures. All workers must wear the necessary personal protective equipment to ensure safety and to eliminate any potential accidents.
